Post-Match Report -- KERA 16-1

Successful Day For The Seoul Survivors

The Seoul Survivors began their KERA cup title defense with two impressive wins over the weekend. It was a good showing of rugby with flowing attack and plenty of tries. The Survivors put up a good performance against a formidable side, Jeonnam. The team ran in 5 tries to 0 holding their opponents scoreless. The team made 4 out of the 5 conversions to finish the game 33-0.

The second game was against the Barbarians in testing conditions as the rain started to pelt down just before kick-off. Despite the slippery ball, the team still managed to score 4 tries to obtain a bonus point victory and continue the good form that saw the team win the cup last season.

From here, the team will look to improve on their performance and iron out any kinks that remain from a long winter break. Next up for the Survivors is the Manila 10’s tournament on March 19-20th. The Survivors are sending a strong squad and will look to win the competition for the first time. Good luck!
